PS any idea on how to find a marriage for a Thomas Shimmin c 23 Nov 1793 son of Philip Shimmin & Catherine Quine. He went to Derbyshire England I believe and married a Anne Kinsman there before coming to the USA.
I found a tombstone with a Thomas Shimmin on it from Isle of Man, his age at time of death matches with christening date above.
