Thank you all for your replies on this couple.
The reasons why I have asked again for information is that in the 1871 Frances is recorded as being born in Co. Kildare, Ireland, but in the 1881 she is down as being born in Douglas. Also with the the difference in age on both census I just wanted to make sure that I did in fact have the correct information.
This posting has not all been confirmation of the facts I have, the MI information from Donna is new to me and also the fact of William in the 1871, was he born in Ireland?
Just a footnote if anyone is interested about Lawrence being in prison for the 1881:-

Offence: Breach of the Peace
Term of Imprisonment: To enter into Bonds in the Rolls Office to Keep the
Peace until the next Court of General Delivery and until he do pay 22
shillings and 6 pence costs.
Discharged: 13 April 1881
