The IGI has Matthias Cain christened March 15 1813 St. Matthews Douglas son of James Cain & Jane Lewin.
AND Matthias Cain christened April 11 1813 St. George Douglas son of James Cain & Jane Lewen.

James Lewin married Jane Lewin on November 12 1807 in Brabban.

Margaret chr. Aug 19 1818 St. George
James chr. Nov. 5 1815 St. George

There is a marriage of a Matthias cain recorded in Liverpool in the December quarter of 1840 in volume 20 page 301.
However there is no Jane on page 301 and there are five males and three females (Alice Fanee, Anne Perkins & Mary Rosetta Moses).
It should be possible to get a marriage cetificate with the above information.
That would also give fathers' names and occupations.
