You can eliminate police Sgt. William Callow's line. He had two surviving sons who married and had issue. Both were born and died in Douglas. (A third surviving son, Joseph Edward (1862-1938) remained a bachelor.
1) John William Henry Callow (1853-1927 had four daughters and two sons. The sons were William John Callow born 1885 Douglas (can't trace any further) and James Thomas Callow born circa 1891 who married in 1923 in Douglas and left the Island after 1927.
2)James Callow 1864-1937) had 8 sons and 2 daughters. No possible connection there.
