I've been away for quite a bit(what with all the passings in the family), but in response to your query about permission and age.Often the interested party just gave thier age as 21, John did this when he married Maggie as he was only just 18, while she was 21+.......

How is the searching going by the way?....I've hit a dead end after my Ggrandfather on my Dad's side..It's like they never existed...........
