Here is what I know about this family. As always, I am very open to corrections and additions.
John Skillicorn (Thomas?) was born about 1784, and died before 1841. He was perhaps the son of Thomas Skillicorn, baptized at Lonan, August 29, 1785. He married, at Lonan, December 21, 1809, Jane Kewley. Jane was born about 1786-88, and was buried at Lonan, April 4, 1861, age 73. Her gravestone states she died at Lonan, April 5, 1861, age 75.
John and Jane Skillicorn lived at Gretch Voar.
Jane Skillicorn’s will was dated April 4, 1861, and admitted to probate May 24, 1861. Jane Skillicorn widow of Gretch Vooar, leaves bequests to daughters Margaret Christian, Eleanor Teare, Mary Ann Corkill, gdau Margaret Quirk, daughter Elizabeth Kermeen’s children, grandson John James Kermeen, and daughter Jane Skillicorn, who is executrix.

Next Generation
Ann Skillicorn was baptized January 22, 1810. She probably married Charles Quirk. This marriage has not been located, but the circumstantial evidence seems strong.
Jane Skillicorn, Ann’s mother left a bequest to her granddaughter Margaret Quirk. This same Margaret Quirk appears in the 1861 census at Gretch Vooar with Ann’s sister Jane, and in the 1881 Lonan census with Ann’s sister Margaret. She is buried at Lonan, and the monumental inscription indicates she is from Gretch Voar.
Other Quirk children appear to be living with various members of the family off and on. Catherine Quirk is living with her grandmother in the 1851 census of Gretch Vane, Annie Quirk is living with William and Eleanor Tear in the 1881 census of Cronk-e-Chule.
Joseph, son of Charles Quirk, Liverpool, is buried at Lonan, March 16, 1841, age 5.
It seems probable that Ann Skillicorn, wife of Charles Quirk, died before her mother’s estate was settled in 1860, as she is not mentioned.
