Brian's birth index has the marriage of an Amelia Sayle in St Andews Presbyterian Douglas in 1890 but gives no name for the spouse.
Finally there is a LDS submitted entry on the IGI for Douglas Cuthbertson son of William Tait Cuthbertson and Amelia Sayle on July 23 1892 in Douglas.
It does not look as though Martha survived as she is not in the 1881 census.
