I'm trying to confirm a marriage that is not listed in the IGI (or anywhere else it seems) between William Kneale and his wife Margaret. I believe she was Margaret Kaighin c. 4 Oct 1812 in Douglas St. George, d/o Charles Kaighin and Ellinor Killey. I know this Margaret Kaighin married a Kneale (from Braddan MI with the rest of this Kaighin family: Margaret alias Kneale died 11th Mar 1870 aged 58 years) and I believe it was William. Here is my evidence:
1851 England Census, Cheshire, Liscard
William Kneale, Head, 35, Mar, Master Tailor, b. IOM
Margaret, Wife, Mar, 37, b.IOM
Ann, Dau, 15, b.IOM
William, Son, 9, b. Cheshire
1861 England Census, Cheshire, Liscard
Margaret Kneale, Head, Mar(ried), 48, Milliner, b. Douglas, IOM
William, Son, UnM, 18, Ag Lab, b. Liscard, Cheshire
From the Jun 1870 quarter of the W. Derby BMD (Vol 8b, p.366) the death of a Margaret Kneale, age 57 is listed
Can anyone either confirm or dispute that this was the Margaret Kaighin born to Charles Kaighin and Elliinor Killey for me? I can find neither her marriage record to any Kneale nor their daughter Ann's birth/christening if this is the correct family.
Thank you.
