Agnes McCaa was my Grandmother. My Father Alfred McCaa was born to Agnes February 8, 1900. Agnes later married Arthur Garrett on the Island and went on to have two more children and died on the Island July 10, 1947. I have been researching the McCaa family on the Island as I knew little of my Father's family except the stories of his life on the farm as a boy. If anyone has an interest I would be happy to fill in some of the details I have found. Five of the McCaa's can be found in the passenger lists on the Ellis Island website.
