I have a marrige certificate for James Christian, Stone Mason, and Ellen Kneen at St. Nicholas Church in Liverpool on May 15 1843. James's father is Richard Christian, Stone Mason, and Ellen's father is Thomas Kneen, Brewer.
In the 1851 census, they are living at 9 Rock St. Liverpool, next door to James's brother John. Both Elle and James give the IOM as their place of birth. James is 34 and Ellen is 29. I cannot locate Ellen' christening in the IGI, nor can I find a brewer named Thomas Kneen in the 1851 census.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
