I have found the birth of a daughter, Sarah, on the IoM (1826 dissenters) with the father named as "Michael", I think (hope) that she was the sister of my GG grandmother Mary Ann although MA's death certificate (New South Wales 1901) refers to her father as James LYNCH an army officer.
NB they appear to occasionally use LYNCH on documents I have found here and of course MA was no longer around when her death was registered.
