If any one can add to the info I have so far your help would be greatly appreciated.
1. Henry Corkish born in 1819 died in 1883 Ballakilley Rushen.
2. married Catherine Keig (Kegg) in 1862
3. catherine died in Smelt Rushen in 1879. The death cert. stated her son Thomas Gale in attendance???
4. Henry and catherine had 5 children: Emily Margaret b.1863, d 1865, William Henry b. 1865, John Jacob b. 1868, Catherine Jane b. 1871, Albert b.1874 ( all children christened in Kirk Rushen as well as Henry and Catherines Marriage)
5. The 1881 Census states Henry widowed with Jacob Catherine and Albert at home. William Henry is possibly living withh Wm. Watterson as a General Servant.
6.Catherine Jane stated in the Canadian 1901 census that she emmigrated in 1896. We believe Albert did as well. Albert is my Great grandfather and he died in Langley B.C. canada in 1948
7. Catherine Jane married a G.L.Mack and she died in 1907.... no children
8. Albert married Lulie Short and they had at least 7 children
9. There is a John Jacob that died at the age of 47 on Mar 16 1916 in Bradden? Not sure if he is our John jacob or not. Also a John Jacob who married a Sara Anne Cain in 1891. Are these one of the same?

Our family is trying to trace back from Henry and Catherine. Who were Henry's parents and siblings, and who was catherine keig... was she married before and had children... hence the Thomas gale on the death cert? What ever became of William Henry... did he marry and have children, and the same for John jacob?
Any light on this would be a great help... when I started I only had 4 names.. Henry, catherine keig and Catherine and Albert.... i was making great strides so I thought ... now I have hit a wall.... thanks in advance... shelley
