I'm hoping someone may be able to help me sort out a little mystery. Constance Mary Corlett (my gr grandmother) was born 1871/72 in Santon, IOM. Parents Thomas and Catherine Corlett. I have record of her marrying Albert Pickard 11 Aug 1889 Braddan and later Ernest Gelling 1910 Lancashire, England (they returned to the island after this). I suspect she was married prior to Albert Pickard since records show her as Constance Mary Clague when she married Albert Pickard. She would have been 17/18 yrs of age when she married Albert. A marriage prior to this would have made her very young though not impossible. Any information or direction would be greatly appreciated.
