My ancestor's came from Ise of Man. My great grandfather Robert Garret was born in t;he Ise of Man in 1819 and arrived in America in 1833 @ the port of new orleans and intending to go to Florida. Emily Jordan Grrett was born in 1826 and died in 1894. My grandmother's dad Philip Garrett was born March 9th 1855 and died in Oct. 1896 and his wife was Sarah cathyrn Garrett . My grandmother was born Oct. 18th 1878 and died in 1962. I'm looking for information re. Garrett's and Mc Lean's. Because my husb. are planning a trip in Sept. and I am hoping to find something before then .
