Could anyone shed some light on the vessel Susan Bailey that sank (I think) in 1873.
I would appreciate knowing what sort of vessel she was, the circumstances of her sinking and crew who were lost.
I have read a reference to this vessel in the Manx notebook Isle of Man Family History Journal Vol X1 No 1 Feb 1989 under orphaned children. There it mentions George Crellin who was lost at sea and his orphaned children having been taken to Liverpool.
Any information would be much appreciated.
