Hello Again,

Last talked about this about 1 year ago and have found new information about the gt gt grandparents (unfortunately not village as yet).

My great grandfather James Corkill emigrated to NZ circa 1880 when he was about 22 years old with his brother (who left the ship in Australia -- do not know brothers name yet ).

His father was James Corkill and Mother was Margaret Corkill nee Gawne and they were farmers.

When I last posted to this forum I had replies from Clive Callow, Bruce Ingram, Sue Pedersen and Sue Wilson

Hope my extra information can trigger someones memory -- maybe Gawne is less common?
