This reinforces my belief that there must be two sets of record, only one of which has been transcribed by the FHS.
Logically (legally) the crematorium must have a record of all bodies that have been cremated.
The Borough must have a record of all plots, or spaces, that were sold for burial or errection of plagues etc. These records have been transcribed as the Burial Records by the FHS.
These two sets of records will not be identical. Persons cremated at the Crematorium may not be buried in the Cemetery, and persons cremated elsewhere (UK, overseas) may be buried in the cemetery.
Finally, the FHS has transcribed an published the MIs existing at the Cemetery. This material probably does not exist in Official Records.
