Frances, According to my history, Illiam y Close was a famous Wesleyan Methodist preacher. He was, I understand, a brother to Nicholas Cowley. Is this correct? Nicholas and Illiam parents were William Cowley and Elizabeth Crellin - so this would make him a great uncle? Would appreciate any information you could give me. My email address is family@outdrs.net
