The 1851 census for German has William and Amelia living at Close e Garey and notes him a farmer of 35 Acres.

Listed seperately at Close e Garey is:-

Jane Collister 69, Widow, German
Elizabeth Collister 28, Daughter

It appears that William is the son of Sylvester Collister and Jane Crellin. IGI has them married at Braddan in 1803.

There seems to be some confusion with the details of Sylvester on IGI, there was another Sylvester born C1780 who lived at Ballacraine.

The Sylvester at Close e Garey was born C1764 and died 1847 aged 83. His will can be seen in Brian Lawson,s site.
