John Bristow b. 1799 Isle of Man

Am looking for John Bristow and family. He was christened at St. Mathews, Douglas, Isle of Man 1803 (+ or -) m. second wife Ann Cockburn b. 1818, dau of John b. 1790 and Esther b.1796. John B. owned a fleet of shipping vessels and tenement houses on the Isle. He fell on hard times and moved to Woolwich, England by way of the Irish Sea and Wales. The 1851 census lists a john Bristow with wife Ann in Woolwich and they have children that range from 17-22 and then a group that range from 1-10, so I assume if this is the correct John he was married before, but I do not have the first wife's name. John Bristow's parents may be Samuel Bristow and Christian Bacon. John Bristow's documented children are Sarah, John, George, Anne (m. John Fair), Edmund, Arthur, Walter, Jane, Felix.
The family left England in the mid 1800s for Ontario, Canada where John B. died in 1868

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
