Thanks for the info, I've been to the web site but there is no way of adding GEDCOM files.
My ancestor is my husbands great grandfather Thomas Cannell. Story goes he came to America with two brothers from IOM
by way of Australia and intered the USA through Washington State in around 1870. I find him in 1880 censes of Utah state with a wife and 3 children including my husbands greatfather, Thomas Douglas Cannell. In the censes his trade is sail maker. tho he was know to work as a miner.
Thomas Douglas Cannell's middle name is said to be where his dad was from in IOM. That's all I know, I've be working on this for my years.
