Re: Henry Bridson and Thomas Bridson

Thanks for the response, however I am in New Zealand and this is a new area for research for me. I am only guessing that Henry may have been born in the I.O.M. And being on the other side of the world makes researching that much harder.

His marriage certificate says his father was Thomas Bridson, station master (he was married in Rugby, Warwickshire.

I think I have located the family on the 1891 and 1901 census'. Both put his father Thomas Bridson born in the I.O.M. (one states Kirk German I.O.M.) about 1852.

Both state that Henry was born Blackburn, Lancashire (but I have done a 10 year search in the registry office and found nothing). Likewise have been unable to find the births in England for any of his siblings.

Any help as to where I can go next (unfortunatly am willing to pay for assistance but limited to budget).

Any help or suggestions as to where I can go next would be appreciated.
