I remember the non Manx stuff coming in - there was a much higher profit on it, offers on free supply of freezers etc + high advertising to push it, but this happened long after the EEC was set up so why then ?, likewise on that analogy I can't see how non-Manx milk is kept out as under free-trade laws all states have to accept a common standard of wholesomeness.
