John Cannell/Ann Mylecharane of Jurby and Ohio

John Cannell married at Jurby, November 4, 1820, Ann Mylecharane, daughter of William and Elizabeth (Christian) Mylecharane. Ann was baptized at Jurby, January 1, 1800.

John and Ann Mylecharane immigrated on the Anachreon, which arrived in New York from Liverpool September 7, 1827.

John died before January 2, 1828, as his funeral service is mentioned in Thomas Kelly’s letter of that date. (See Frances' Manx Notebook)

What happened to John's wife and children? Did Ann remarry soon, or did she return to the Island?
