I believe my GGG-Grandfather, Patrick Morrison, was born in Ballaugh c 1800.
The Man Note Book indicates that Morrison is the anglicised form or Mylvorrey.
One Pat Mylvorrey (or Mcylvorrey) married Isabel Cannell in Ballaugh in 1779 and one of their children was Patrick Mylvorrey Jr.
Is there a connection between Patrick Mylvorrey and Patrick Morrison?
