Coincidentally came across this today in the 1891 census.

Joseph Leaver Marsden, born England, age 48. Manager Mineral Water Works.

Joseph was married to Elizabeth Gawne of Rushen (possibly d/o Thomas Gawne and Jane Sansbury). They were married in 1870 in Blackburn where they had their first child James and then returned to the Isle of Man before 1874 when Annie was born. A number of children followed. In 1881 Joseph is described as "Bottler of Mineral Waters".

Does anyone know anything about this or the Marsden family?
