There is a family in NZ wanting to trace their Manx ancestry. John Corkhill born 12/10/1838 Maughold. Second son to William & Jane Corkhill [nee Stowell]. Elder brother Thomas arthur[died aged 25- farm labourer], a younger brother Robert, sisters Hannah [died aged 15] and Ann Jane. They think that John arrived in NZ about 1862 [stonemason ] as he filed an application to marry. Any suggestions where they can go to get any more info?
