Margaret Cannel was my gt.gt. grandmother, born 1823/4 on the IOM. She married Robert Elliot in Liverpool in 1847.

Her mother Jane was born in 1792/3, and still alive in 1871 - widowed in Liverpool.

Any information on Margaret's parents please?
