Thanks very much Brian & Donna your information filled in some gaps & lead me to tracing Alexander,s son William F.Cowell (1901 census) to "Bemahague" or is it "Bamahague" - Onchan. What & where is this. Does it still exist. Is there any way of tracing occupancy after 1901. I will appreciate any help.
