Thanks very much Brian & Donna your information filled in some gaps & lead me to tracing Alexanders's son William F.Cowell & family (1901 census) to "Bamahague" or is it Bemahague - Onchan. What & where is this? Does it still exist. Is there anyway of tracing occupancy after 1901.
