Thank you for your hard work, this is indeed my John but was not aware of the St Clements Dane, in Westminster. I am pleased that his father appears not to be a John but a Robert. If he is indeed from IOM what information will I need to track down to confirm as father of John. I guess from the Hackney/Westminister side it will be parish registers for John's birth and Westminister for Marriages for Robert. Do you have any additional ideas. Many thanks, one very happy Kay! ( John has taken nearly a year on and off to track even an approximate dob.)
