I've decided to have another go at tracing my IOM Kelly family.
The 1881 census lists John Kelly, age 40, born Onchan. From John Kelly's marriage record 1876 I have his father as William Kelly.
There is a birth record in Onchan for a John Kelly, born 1839, father William that could be him but no mother's name is given.
If anyone has info on Kellys from Onchan I would appreciate hearing from them.
