Re: Looking for a Corlett ancestor
In Response To: Looking for a Corlett ancestor ()

Could Hannah have been christened as Ann?The IGI has an Ann Eleanor Corlett b April 28, 1856, but christened on July 24, 1859, both in Liverpool. As three years seems a long time to wait for a christening, there is possibly an error in transcription. She is the daughter of Daniel Corlett & Eleanor.
Per the 1901 census, there are two possible May Corletts. One in Ramsey aged 11 and Free bmd has a May Corlett b. Liverpool in 1889. If you know Hannah's brother's name, e.g. through the 1901 census, you should increase your chances of identifying Hannah's parents.
