I have been trying to find information on the above named lady who would have been my greatgrandmother.She gave birth to my grandad Thomas Leonard Quaye in Preston on 21st November 1920 and gave him up for adoption.The name of the father is missing from the certificate.She also had more children him.We belive she worked for a Mr Kissack/Hissack in sandygate? who had a son who ran a childrens home.She married a Mr John Curphey in 1924 and had a daughter called Lucy Valerie.Any info would be gratefully recieved as it is a large part of my family history that is missing.
