My maiden name was Brew, but my ancestors were from the IOM. I have a few names , but none were born outside the IOM before the l900's. It is very hard finding the Brews from the Isle of Man.They were the poorest of the poor in l800's so everytime I put a notice on the board trying to find a Brew, I get nothing. Good luck to you.
