You may need to try something out of the ordinary such as:-

Lewis Henry Killey ch.1871 to Ann Killey. The 1881 census has an Ann Cowell plus daughter living with Ann Killey. IGI has a reference to Lewis Cowle (Cowell) who died in 1874.

Lewis Henry Jones is living with William and Elizabeth Cowell in 1881 who had a son called Lewis.

It's a bit speculative and leaves the name Jones a curiosity.
