Hi Glenys, I had same search in 1997 and found my granduncle serving in the Glasgow Police in 1898, I wrote to their achive address and was sent his service record. Trouble was he resigned and vanished in 1899 and I did not find his resting place until 2000 in Australia !

A lot of Manx Policemen went to England or joined there, especialy Liverpool. If you have a www.google.com search engine just enter Liverpool Police it works for all.
