I have Christiana Basnett (Widow) on Prescott St. on the 1841 Liverpool census born Douglas IOM c. 1781.
Am anxious to find her maiden name and learn more of her Manx roots. Were there Basnetts on IOM ? Did she marry there or in Liverpool (presumably around 1800)? Am also trying to sort out her connection with my Pace family, as on 1851 census she is at same address with Christiana Pace there noted as her granddaughter. (But Christiana Pace's parents were Esther Lyon and John Pace.) Would appreciate any help. Thank you.
