Hello. I'd just like to remind people that children from the Isle of Man did end up becoming "child migrants" and being "shipped to Canada." In Canada, they were referred to as "British Home Children" (or "Home Children, Canada"). Both terms are searchable.

I just checked and 9 children had the surname, QUAYLE.
My great-grandmother was born Mary Elizabeth CORKILL / CORKHILL in 1860. She was born in Liverpool, England, but her parents had just moved there from the IOM. She and her 4 younger siblings were sent to Nova Scotia in 1874, and each went to a different home.
Other children with that surname also went over: See COCKILL, CORNHILL, etc.
