Re: Thos Radcliff Family Amherst Ohio, & Illinois
In Response To: Thomas Radcliff Family ()

Hi Alice,

I have some information on the family of Thomas Radcliffe and Elizabeth Gawne, which I will post at the end of this message.

But first I want to correct your assumption about the identity of this Thomas Radcliffe.

The Thomas Radcliffe on the Ocean in 1827 has been shown to be the son of Thomas Radcliff and Catherine Stephens, baptized at Andreas, January 4, 1812, and died (buried) in Warrensville Ohio in 1841. He immigrated with his widowed father, Thomas (1773-1834) and his brother John, baptized in 1808.

There are several very knowledgeable Radcliffe researchers on this board who may be able to help you identify your Thomas.

Good luck with your search.

Lois
