Does any agency exist on the island holding records of wartime evacuees?My wife,her older brother and her mother were evacuated to IoM in 1941,my wifes grandfather John Robert Radcliffe had already returned to the island the previous year,he lived at Lucerne Cottage Bride with his sister Margaret Radcliffe,Dogmills Bride,as far as my wife can recall her temporary home was nearby,any information gratefully received.
