Thanks Brian,my grandfather was 25yrs of age in 1881 and he was a fisherman in the port of PEEL,living in GLEN WILLIN with wife Isabella children Willy,Harry,Alice,Willina.
So the ages do not fit in with Thomas also the name Cannon does not strike a bell.
