1871 census look up?
My great grandfather John Henry Johnson was born in 1857 in Douglas.
In the Braddan 1881 census he was living with his wife Margaret and 3 sons in Fort Anne Rd.
? was he living at Strand St with his father John in 1871.

Also I am quite new to genealogy and the IOM is a bit of a challenge, are there any birth certs available prior to 1878.
