That's very interesting Elizabeth, especially section 22 which explains the "of age" which was discussed on this board some time ago.

It appears that the age of discretion (of age) was considered to be aged 14, which we knew from will probates, but there were restrictions imposed on the disposal of inherited property until the person turned 21.
