I am trying to trace any information about Elizabeth and James Francis Edwards who married in Isle of Man in1838 [plus or minus a year] his parents were Francis and Mary Edwards [ nee Howard] all born in Liverpool?

Elizabeth and James Francis emigrated to Australia and are the gt.gt. grandparents of William Scott

I got the details of marriage off his death certificate, and presume it was a Weslyan church as that was the denomination used for the funeral

We would be greatful for any advice on where to look for any other details
