Check with Roger Sims at the MNH Library. Personal records of early Manx police were available at the Douglas Police Station some 15 years ago. Police archives material was transferred to the MNH library approximatey 10 years ago. When I inquired about individual records at the MNH Library 6 years ago, I was told, none could been found. Since it can take a long time to index some of the material it might still be worth another inquiry.

I have the personal records of several policeman which I obtained at the Douglas Police Station so can prove that they did exist not too long ago.
