When I was a little girl I was priviledged to know Miss Douglas. I went to St Josephs Convent on Finch road and she taught a group of us manx dancing and entered us into the Manx music festival every year. We never did great, nothing to do with her teaching but she always made us feel that we were the best. She taught us the Lords prayer in Manx gaelic and to this day I still remember it all and have said it on many occasion. She was a wonderful preserver of our Manx heritage and you must be very proud of your relationship to her.

A very grateful Mona Douglas Student
