John, thanks ever so much for your reply. I had a strange feeling this wasnt the Robert i was looking for. His father was Henry Kermode born 1838 in Patrick. Do you have the information on the 1871/1891 as if you dont i have this information here. I also have an Ellen Jane kermode aged 83yrs Bishops Domain, buried 21 July 1955. She doesnt appear to be mine so i hope this little information helps you (although you probably have this!) Ah well, onward to find my Robert Kermode and his family. Thanks again. Jan
