Qualtrough's lands were alongside the Sulby River between Sulby Bridge on the west and Ellanbane on the east. They are marked "Qualtrough" on the 1869 O.S. They were intack lands which passed to the Lezayre Qualtroughs by marriage. They were lost through debts. Mary Qualtrough bought half of her brother's former lands, and left them to Corlett cousins. There is a famous photograph of haymaking on the Corlett, Berrag meadows at Sulby which I suppose are these lands.
