I'm trying to piece this together with Shirley's post. So I gather from both posts that Jane Black had an illegitimate child, William Cannell in 1860. Then 18 years later in 1878 had another illegitimate son John James Kaighin, whose father John James Kaighin she married five years after that in 1883. She then died at Whitehouse Lane, KM in 1911.
If all this is correct then my previous suggestion that this may be the John James born in 1836 would have made him about 47 when he married Jane.
I'm not saying that any of this is wrong, but there seems to be something missing here. Perhaps there were two Jane Blacks, the first the mother of the illegitimate William Cannell, and the second, the mother of John James Kaighin.
There is another John James that could fit this scenario c.1Nov1857 K.M. and buried 23Feb1932 s/o Hugh K. and Anne Cowley. Although I've seen a will showing him married to an Elizabeth Quick.
Yusser, Can you provide me with your sources for the names you mentioned in your post? I don't have any of this family in my database. Also, I've seen you post on Kaighin related queries before. Do you have a Kaighin link? If so I'd like to trade notes if you have any. Please email me at kaighin@iname.com
